Skopelos ports guide
Skopelos has three ports, and knowing which one your ferry uses matters for planning the rest of your journey, since they're spread across different parts of the island and the road distance between them is significant.
Quick answer
Skopelos Town is the main port and where most ferries arrive. Glossa's port, Loutraki, is the second-busiest, serving the northwest of the island. Agnontas, on the southwest coast, mainly serves as a backup port when north winds make the main harbour difficult to approach.

What to check
Ferry routes often call at more than one Skopelos port on the same journey — a vessel might stop at Glossa before continuing to Skopelos Town, or vice versa. Read your ticket carefully for the specific port and arrival time, not just 'Skopelos', since the wrong assumption here can mean a long, unplanned taxi ride.
Route logic
If you're staying in or near Skopelos Town, look for tickets specifying that port directly. If your accommodation is in Glossa, Loutraki, Panormos or further up the west coast, a Glossa arrival saves a long drive back from Chora. Agnontas arrivals are uncommon outside weather disruptions, but worth knowing about if your scheduled port suddenly changes.
Mistakes to avoid
Assuming a quick taxi or bus connects every port to every destination at all hours — the bus network is more reliable in daylight and high season than late at night or in winter. If arriving late, confirm in advance that onward transport will actually be running.
