The coast road

The main road between Skopelos Town and Glossa, winding past Panormos, Milia and the other west-coast beaches, is a manageable ride for moderately fit cyclists, with enough beach stops along the way to break up the distance and turn the ride into a full day out rather than a single point-to-point trip.

Forest mountain-bike tracks

Inland trails through the pine forest, including some of the same paths used for hiking to the Mount Palouki monasteries, work for mountain biking at a more relaxed pace, with shade for most of the route and a network of old mule paths to explore that connect several of the island's villages.
